about a recent news report:

Banco Luso Brasileiro (BLB), one of the largest financiers of public transportation in the country, clarifies that it is not the target of an investigation by the São Paulo Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPSP).

This can be seen in a document issued by the MPSP itself, following formal consultation with the bank, due to the need to provide clarifications to the market and business partners regarding reports published in October:

BLB reinforces that there has been no supervision or audit by the Central Bank (BC) outside the schedule established by the agency – currently every three years.

BLB’s attitude in its day-to-day dealings with regulatory bodies is one of active cooperation and total transparency. Luso is proud to have the highest ratings from risk agencies and the Central Bank itself.
